- 17 miles — approximately 35/40 minutes by limousine/taxi/shuttle bus
- By car via 90/94 - Take the Kennedy Expressway to downtown Chicago (The Loop) exiting at Ohio Street East. Proceed to LaSalle Street and make a right on LaSalle, then turn left on Wacker. The hotel is located on the right-hand side of the street.
From Midway Airport
- 10 miles — approximately 20/30 minutes by limousine/taxi/shuttle bus
- Take Cicero Avenue North to I-55 North/East. Follow all signs leading to The Loop and North Lake Shore Drive. Take Lake Shore Drive North to the Wacker Drive exit. This exit will wrap under Lake Shore Drive and then head west. At this point, you are on lower Wacker Drive. To get to Upper Wacker Drive, take the ramp farthest to the right headed west (poorly marked). The second stoplight is Michigan Avenue. Hotel 71 is located just west of Michigan on the left-hand side of the street.
