EzRMS™ User Group Conferences

User Group 2006 - Summary of Events

This year’s event was held in the vibrant city of Amsterdam and had almost than 60 delegates in attendance, focusing the 2 day event around the ongoing challenges faced by all hoteliers today – Market Leaders or Market Followers? Increasing Yieldable Demand, What is the Right Daily Price? And how do we increase Revenues from our Group Business.

Once again providing a critical venue for users to share unique experiences with many other international hoteliers and intuitive Revenue driven industry colleagues, attendees were delighted with the content and format of the Conference and eagerly await the next events to be held by EasyRMS in 2007:

“Being in the very early stage of EzRMS™ implementations, I was not sure what benefit would be gained from the conference as I did not feel I would have much to contribute in user discussions. I did however leave the User Group with a great deal of new insight into where our industry is going and found the group discussions very useful. The presentations made by EasyRMS were very well researched and clearly presented, and the fact that EasyRMS clients were able to present their points-of-view on each topic made the 2 days a very interactive experience. The conference also re-assured me that we have taken a good decision in choosing EzRMS™ in our region as I only heard positive feedback about the tool from all of those present.”
James Merchant, Accor Hotels - Asia Pacific

“The EzRMS™ User Group Conference was a truly awesome experience. The group interaction with shared best practices has provided me with the confidence to take more risks and truly be a leader within my market. This pertains to our positioning encompassed with pricing and selling strategies. I have a clearer insight on how to execute effective strategies thereby focused on further increasing revenues. The fact that I now have a vast and highly knowledgeable resource through the user group just takes this even to a higher standard - it did not take much to convince my General Manager to ensure he participates in the conference in 2007!”
Elizabeth Tanaskovic, Cambridge Suites Hotel - Toronto

“As an independent hotel it is important to network with other independent hotels but also with hotels being part of international chains. The EzRMS™ User Group is one of the occasions given to us to benchmark our strategy and to get new ideas. The EzRMS™ system, which we have uses for 3 years now, helped us whist changing our market strategy efficiently and to raise our revenues. The possibility to further communicate with other users via the online EzRMS™ User Forum will help us to understand what is going on in this domain in other countries and in different parts of the world and to adapt our strategies accordingly.”
René Wildeman, Hotel Amsterdam-De Roode Leeuw

“It has been a great pleasure attending the User Group conference in Amsterdam. This meeting is a great opportunity to exchange experiences and to network with other revenue managers around the world. It is also a good way to improve our knowledge on the EzRMS™ system and to discover all the new functionalities - we will be back next year!”
Barbara Alexandra, Hotel Montalembert - Paris

“The EzRMS™ User Group Conference was an extremely beneficial environment for sharing the benefits of EzRMS™ and holding open discussions with peers in the industry on key revenue management topics. We thoroughly enjoyed the group discussions focusing on the core topics. The thought processes stimulated during the forum have led directly to a review of our revenue strategies. Several of these shared strategies have now been adopted into our Revenue Strategy for 2007 and will be instrumental in driving our average rates.’’
Paul Ferguson, Newport Holiday Inn

This year’s evening festivities centred on a scenic boat trip around the historical canals of Amsterdam followed by dinner in a typical Dutch restaurant where delegates continued to debate the subjects of discussion from the Conference and to form long lasting relationships with colleagues from around the world …. NO famous Dutch Coffee Shops were on the agenda, you will be very glad to hear!

Having completed this, our 2nd User Group Conference we are fully convinced of the importance and opportunities created by such an event and would like to thank both the speakers and delegates who joined us this year. Many thanks for your participation and valuable input to make this such an enjoyable and productive occasion - for those of you that missed the opportunity, we do hope you will be able to join us for the next EzRMS™ User Group Conference in 2007 – watch this space for further details of venue and schedules.
