User Group 2009 - Summary of Events

This year our User Group Conference was held from 13-15th December in London, UK, during an unusually cold spell. Whilst the snow-mad media talked of a possible white Christmas, clients convening for our 5th User Group Conference at the Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth were talking more about how these past twelve months have affected the hotel industry; not to mention industry in general.
Given the unprecedented instability of the global market, this year's event was the ideal venue for all delegates to share recent experiences and compare strategies and decisions for the future. The fact that attendees were all experienced EzRMS™ users made the discussions detailed and intense. Many points were addressed and a wealth of knowledge was shared amongst the delegates, this the main benefit of such events hosted by EasyRMS on an annual basis.
The format for the 2009 Conference worked well, consisting of two general presentations given by EasyRMS and much interactive Group work.
In addition there were several breakout workshops, focusing on topics such as Super User Training, Forecast Accuracy and also highlighting new functionalities in EzRMS™ which have been introduced over the past couple of months.
"It is always rewarding to host this interactive forum where loyal clients from different hotel markets, brands / classifications and geographical locations are able to address critical issues as well as exchange ideas and thoughts with fellow EzRMS™ users," says Paul Margaillan, EasyRMS Managing Director.
We do hope more EzRMS™ users can join us for the next User Group Conference in 2010 where we will continue to provide an environment in which General Managers, Group Revenue Managers, Revenue Managers and Sales & Marketing Executives can learn more about automated Revenue Management, meet and interact with friends and new colleagues, and discuss the current hot topics and long-term challenges that affect the hospitality industry.
